Manual Patch deployment

1. You can manually update Windows Defender by downloading the latest security intelligence update for Microsoft Defender from the official vendor site.
2. Visit Microsoft Windows Defender updates and select the update based on your machine architecture.
3. Once the patch file is downloaded on your target machine, go ahead and double-click on the exe installer file.
4. Now follow the prompts given by the installation wizard to update the Windows Defender. Now the defender updates are installed on your system.
5. This update does not require any restart.
6. To validate this go to Windows Security -> Settings -> About -> check the Antivirus Version it should show you the latest version as shown on Windows Defender updates.
