Today, we focus on deploying a patch released by Microsoft on March 12, 2024, for 2024–03 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5035857)

To determine if your system requires this patch, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings -> About -> Windows Specifications and ensure your system is a Windows Server edition with version 21H2 or 22H2.
  2. Check the build version, which should be less than 20348.2340.

  1. You can either download the patch directly from the Microsoft catalog website. Make sure to check for the right patch version that you are downloading or a simpler and more accurate way could be to visit Patch Astra and search for “KB5035857
